There are many tame deer roaming the temple grounds in Nara. They will come up and eat out of your hand and are quite friendly!

I love the expression on the little guy underneath. He looks like he's feeling neglected.

Notice the one deer butting his antlers against Steve's leg. He loved to polish his antlers on anyone who came close.
